Pilates Class Online With Ceza

The Flourishing Well is delighted to offer funded places for Ceza's Pilates class. Our holistic health care one to one sessions, workshops and events are free for people who are experiencing financial hardship.

Pilates is an exercise method designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. Classes focus on specific areas individually whilst using exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum function.

Pilates targets the deep postural muscles (abs and pelvic floor). It works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps to reshape and tone the body. It will also improve your posture, achieving the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, and it is a great way to relieve unwanted stress, tension and pain in the body.

The class is suitable for all levels and ages. Modifications are given so that the exercises can be performed by all.

Participants require a mat or towel to lie on. Anyone with an injury needs to speak to me in advance, so I am aware of modifications needed to be given during the class.

The class will be held on Tuesday, 1 Sept 2020, from 11:30AM to 12:30PM via Zoom.
